Timothy J. Pranger, DMD received his Bachelor of Science at Eastern Illinois University. He then continued his education at Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine graduating in 1987. While at Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine he took over 500 hours of study in TMJ, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and practice management courses.
Dr. Pranger has had 20 years of experience. He was the previous owner of
Smile for Life Dentistry in Glen Carbon from 1990-1999. He was also an
associate at Dentistry with TLC in Godfrey for five years. In January
2007, Dr. Pranger bought Humbert Road Dentistry where he specializes in
General Dentistry including Root Canals, Crowns and Bridges, Cosmetic
Dentistry, and Oral Surgery.
Dr. Pranger is a Member of ADA, Madison District Dental Society, a PerioProtect Provider, and a Lumineers Provider.
Dr. Moody is a graduate of Edwardsville High School, Baylor University, and Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree in 2004, and she is an 8 year veteran of both the Illinois and Alaska Army National Guards. In the past, she has worked with various mobile dental units to provide care to school aged children in underserved areas and continues to give dental health presentations in local schools. Dr. Moody also previously served as an adjunct clinical faculty member at Lewis and Clark Community College and worked with their mobile unit. She really enjoys educating her patients on the importance of great dental and periodontal health as well as the benefits of PerioProtect.
She resides in Edwardsville with her husband, Doug, their three daughters, and a Bernese Mountain dog named Newman. As a mother of three, Dr. Moody stays busy with the girls’ schools as well as their activities which include the Edwardsville Breakers Swim Team, AWANA, and the SIUE Suzuki String Program. She is also involved with her church, First Baptist of Maryville. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, playing the piano, clarinet, and violin, travelling, reading, biking on area trails, and venturing to local eateries. She is very thankful to be a part of the Humbert Road Dentistry Family.
Dr. Sara Hanahan is passionate about health and enjoys working together with her patients to achieve a healthy smile. She joined us in June 2017 and is excited to be part of the Humbert Road Dentistry team.
Dr. Hanahan received her dental degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. There she served as Secretary of the American Association of Women Dentists and was a member of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, American Academy of General Dentists, Illinois State Dental Society, and ADA. Upon graduating Magna Cum Laude, Dr. Hanahan was elected as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upson Honorary Dental Society. She also received an award from the American College of Prosthodontics for her work throughout dental school.
In her free time, Dr. Hanahan enjoys traveling to visit family and friends and spending time with her boyfriend and chocolate lab. She likes cooking, being outdoors, staying active, and helping to rehab local homes.
Gretchen graduated from the Hygiene Program at Lewis & Clark Community
College in 2002 . While in school, Gretchen was the Vice-President of
Student American Dental Hygienists Association from 2002-2003 and a member
of Phi Theta Kappa. Upon graduating, Gretchen found her home at Humbert
Road Dentistry and has been with us for 8 years.
Gretchen has participated in many community activities including Give Kids a Smile in 2004 and Beverly Farm Foundation and the Southern Illinois University Dental School Pediatric Clinic while attending Lewis and Clark Community College.
Nicki has been involved in the field of dentistry for over 20 years with the last 14 being that of a Hygienist. In 2004, she graduated the Dental Hygiene program of Lewis and Clark. She enjoys working 1 on 1 with patients, helping them to learn why oral health is so important, and how it is related to your overall health.

Niki joined Humbert Road Dentristy in March of 2017 where she has been focusing on the oral systemic connection, learning more and more every day to help our patients better understand the importance of a Healthy Smile!
Laci has been involved in the field of dentistry for the past 6 years, the last 4 ½ as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Missouri College in 2012. Laci is an Alton High graduate!

Laci joined Humbert Road Dentistry’s growing practice in August of 2018. She’s passionate about helping patients understand the oral systemic connection and ways in which they can achieve the healthy smile they want and deserve.
She loves working with children and adults to help maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Renee attended Lewis & Clark Community College from 1993-1995 and Advanced Dental Careers in 2002. She has been a dental assistant for 11 years. Renee started with Humbert Road Dentistry in 2012. Renee looks forward to assisting others with maintaining their oral health for many years to come. She will be in the room with you while the dentist is treating you. Renee enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets. She also loves gardening, horseback riding and attending Bible Study.
Leslie is in charge of our central sterilization area. Leslie has been with Humbert Road Dentistry for 4 years. Leslie also helps in other areas when she is needed, she is quick to lend a helping hand. Leslie enjoys gardening and keeping up on the latest technology.
Kate joined Humbert Road Dentistry in July of 2014 after graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Lewis & Clark. She enjoys working as the scheduling coordinator with the great team of professionals here and feels as if this is her second family! When she is not working, she loves reading, traveling and spending time with her family and dog. Kate is a member of St. Mary’s Church here in Alton and enjoys spending some of her free time helping with fundraising activities for non-profits such as the American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association.
Danielle began her dental assisting career while in the Granite City high school co-op program, and she continued her education at Southwestern Illinois College graduating with an associate degree in communications. Danielle has been a part of the Humbert Road Dentistry team since February 2015. She enjoys working with all of the staff, learning about new technology, and keeping up with the advances in dentistry. In her free time, Danielle enjoys camping and boating at Lake Kinkaid with her family, friends, and Aussie Arrow.
Stephanie attended Missouri College from 2014 to 2015. She received her CDA certification and graduated with an associate degree in applied science. Stephanie has been a patient at Humbert Road Dentistry since 2006, completed her dental assisting internship here and decided there was no place she would rather put her skills to work than Humbert Road Dentistry. She joined our team permanently in April of 2015. She enjoys getting to know patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. Stephanie has three children and loves spending time with family and friends, cooking and the outdoors.
