As one of the first faces you'll see upon arriving, Kayla is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere. She takes pride in helping patients navigate their treatment options and works diligently to ensure that your first visit is both smooth and enjoyable. Kayla’s passion for patient care extends beyond the front desk; she genuinely enjoys getting to know each patient and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Her goal is to make every appointment as comfortable as possible. Outside of her role at Humbert Road Dentistry, Kayla enjoys quality time with her family and has a love for travel, her two puppy dogs and teaching gymnastics at a local dance studio.
Morgan is the clinical coordinator at Humbert Road Dentistry, bringing her expertise in office administration to the dental field since 2019. A graduate of Southwestern High School in 2011, she earned her Associate’s Degree in Office Administration from Lewis and Clark Community College in 2015. Morgan joined Humbert Road Dentistry in 2022 and has since been a valuable part of the team. She enjoys multitasking and helping patients understand their treatment plan. Outside of work, she lives in Edwardsville with her husband Chris. They have three children, Zoey, Gavin, and Layla, along with two dogs, Izzy and Ryder. As a busy mom, Morgan enjoys being on the go with a packed calendar filled with events and sports, particularly enjoying volleyball. She not only plays but also helps coach her older two children in the sport.
Dawn has dedicated over 34 years to the field of dentistry, making a significant impact on both her patients and colleagues. For 16 of those years, she has been an integral part of Humbert Road Dentistry, working alongside Dr. Terry Ortman, DDS. Her commitment to providing exceptional dental care and her passion for patient education have made her a beloved figure in the practice.Outside of her professional life, Dawn has been happily married for 27 years to the love of her life. Together, they have raised three children, Taylor, Maddie, and Sam. Family is at the heart of Dawn's life, and she cherishes the time spent with her three granddaughters, Ryleigh, Remi, and Raelyn. In her leisure time, Dawn is an avid fitness enthusiast, enjoying workouts that keep her energized and healthy. She has a deep appreciation for music, frequently attending concerts and local live performances. Dawn also loves to travel, seeking new adventures and experiences that enrich her life.
Danielle jumped into dental assisting back in 2008 through the Granite City High School Co-Op Program and hasn’t looked back since! After earning her Associate Degree in Communications from Southwestern Illinois College, she joined Humbert Road Dentistry in February 2015. Danielle loves chatting with patients and being the go-to "Mrs. Fix-It" in the office. When she’s off the clock, you can find her trying out the trendiest new restaurants, or soaking up the sun while camping and boating with her husband, their two children, and their crazy Aussie, Arrow.
Kellie is a dedicated dental assistant with a passion for patient care, committed to making every visit a positive experience. With over 10 years of experience in the field, she excels at helping patients feel comfortable and informed. Outside of work, Kellie is a proud mom of two kids, Grayson and Mia. She loves attending concerts, trying out new restaurants, and indulging in her guilty pleasure — watching reality TV. Whether it's discovering a new favorite dish or enjoying live music, she believes in embracing life’s little joys. Kellie can’t wait to meet you and help make your visits as pleasant as possible!
Keirstin is a dedicated dental assistant with years of experience, having graduated from Midwest Technical Institute’s Dental Assisting program in 2015. Known for her commitment to patient care, she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience while educating patients about their oral health. Outside of the office, Keirstin enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Austin, and their baby girl, Blakely. A travel enthusiast, she’s always ready for the next adventure, especially with an iced coffee in hand and a smile on her face!
Amanda has been a dental assistant who loves making patients smile since 2013. When she’s not at the office, you can find her soaking up the sun, whether floating down the river or rocking out at outdoor concerts. Cooking is another of her passions — especially whipping up tasty meals for family gatherings on football Sundays! At home, Amanda enjoys every moment with her husband, Dustin, their adventurous son, Kyler, and their sweet beagle, Peaches. Whether they’re off on a spontaneous river trip or having a cozy family dinner, Amanda embraces the simple joys of life and knows how to keep the fun going while balancing work and family.
Laci is an Alton native, graduating from Alton High School in 2009. She went on to graduate from Missouri College with her Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2012. Since then, she has been working in the dental field and joined Humbert Road Dentistry’s growing practice in 2018. Her patients are like her extended family and she loves helping them achieve excellent oral health. When she is not at work, she enjoys boating, swimming, fishing, hunting, and spending time with her family and dog, Hera. She married her husband, Derrick, in 2015 and they have two children together, Delanie and Dani.
Gretchen has been a familiar face at Humbert Road Dentistry since 2004. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Lewis & Clark Community College in 2003, and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Vice President of Student American Dental Hygienists Association. After graduating, she found her home here at Humbert Road Dentistry. In the many years she has been a part of the team, she has seen families grow and helped countless patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She receives the most gratification when she feels she is helping patients achieve their wellness goals. “I want my patients to have the best experience in our office.” In her free time, Gretchen enjoys spending time with friends and family. She has participated in Give Kids a Smile, Beverly Farms Foundation, and Southern Illinois University Dental School Pediatric Clinic.
Nicki joined Humbert Road Dentistry in March 2017, and has been involved in the field of dentistry for over 20 years. In 2004, she graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Lewis & Clark Community College. Nicki is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with her patients, ensuring that even the most anxious individuals feel at ease during their visits. With a passion for educating her patients on the importance of oral health and its systemic connection to overall well-being, Nicki strives to empower everyone to take charge of their dental care. Family is at the heart of everything Nicki does. When she’s not in the office, she cherishes quality time with her husband, Chris, and their two children, Emma and Cole. Together, they enjoy exploring new adventures and creating lasting memories
Brittni has 14 years of experience in the dental insurance field. Her passion lies in helping patients navigate the complexities of dental insurance, ensuring you understand your benefits and maximize your coverage. Her goal is to alleviate any financial concerns you may have, allowing you to focus on your oral health. She prides herself on clear communication and a friendly approach, making sure you feel informed and supported throughout your dental journey. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two boys. They love camping and exploring the great outdoors, and she often unwinds with a good book after a long day.
Kathy became part of the team in 2014 and has loved working as the Office Manager at Humbert Road Dentistry. Since starting this profession in the early 80s, Kathy has seen many changes in the dental profession, all of which make dentistry more comfortable for the patient. Kathy keeps abreast of changes throughout the industry by attending continuing education courses and reading current dental publications. Her goal is to find ways to create a calming atmosphere for patients to come and complete the care they want or need in a manner that fits into their budget and lifestyle. Kathy is passionate about life and enjoys helping people and learning new things. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, loves photography, and will take every free moment she has to spend time with her grown son.
