Dr. Stacy Cain Moody, DMD
Dr. Moody is a graduate of Edwardsville High School. She then received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from Baylor University. In 2004, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree (D.M.D.) from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She is an eight year veteran of both the Illinois and Alaska Army National Guards. In the past, she has worked with various mobile dental units to provide care to school aged children in underserved areas and continues to give dental health presentations in local schools. Dr. Moody also previously served as an adjunct clinical faculty member at Lewis and Clark Community College and worked with their mobile unit.
She resides in Edwardsville with her husband, Doug, their three daughters, and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Newman. As a mother of three, Dr. Moody stays busy with her girls’ many activities. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, traveling, reading, and biking on area trails.
Dr. Moody is passionate about providing quality dental care, educating patients on the importance of great oral health, and treating her patients as family. She purchased Humbert Road Dentistry with Dr. Hanahan in 2019, and they are so excited for the opportunity to practice hometown dentistry in the Riverbend Area.
